有錢

I'm loaded.

Loaded: [Slang] Having a great deal of money. 非常有錢。

它既可以表示某人很富有，也可以用來表示某人現在手裏很有錢。

Examples：

A: I think football players get paid far too much money.

B: I know. Can you imagine being loaded like that? Having expensive carsand lots of houses--it must be incredible.

A: I can't afford to go out tonight. I've spent all my money.

B: Don't worry. I'm loaded right now. I'll treat you to a night out.

除了用loaded表示有錢，minted和rolling也有這方面的含義。

I'm minted.

Mint有造幣廠的意思( A place where the coins of a country are manufactured byauthority of the government.)，造幣廠裏有多少錢就不用説了，所以mint的形容詞有abundant amount ofmoney的意思。

I'm rolling in it.

Rolling 就是打滾的.意思，錢多得可以在裏面打滾，真是夠有錢的。

沒錢

I'm really skint.

Skint: [Slang] Without money, esp. only temporarily

由上面的解釋可以看出，If someone is skint, they have very littlemoney。雖然skint可以表示poor的意思，但卻不能完全替代poor。因為skint is usually used when someone hasrun out of money temporarily，它常指某人由於最近手頭比較緊，錢花完了，但是很快就又會有錢了he will have somemoney again quite soon，所以skint表示一個人短時期，暫時沒有錢。比如月光族們在花完了這個月工資，等待下個月工資的時候，就可以説自己skint。

Examples

A: Do you want to come to the cinema on Friday night?

B: I can't, I'm really skint this month.

A: My girlfriend likes to shop a lot.

B: Oh really, does she have expensive taste?

A: Yes. I'm usually skint after we go out shopping together.

當然了，有錢和沒錢都是相對而言的。哪天I can't afford to buy lunch. I'm tooskint.的時候，真希望聽到你説I'll buy you lunch. I'm loaded.
